It’s finally here — we’ve worked for several years to create a new Visitor Center for Cordillera Ranch and this fall we moved in to our new offices on Cordillera Trace, just down the hill from the original home to the Cordillera Ranch Visitor Center. Over the 20 years we’ve operated from the Visitor Center, it had served as a breathtaking setting to pan across the beautiful horizon and soak in the birds-eye view of the Ranch. However, in recent years, we’d simply outgrown our space and were in great need of an upgrade and expansion. Thus, the new Vista Office was planned.
The Vista Office is home to the Cordillera Ranch Visitor Center, DH Investment Company, Pasadera Building Company and Cordillera Ranch POA management along with Northington Ranches and Jim Terrian Designs. Designed by Jim Terrian to have a residential-looking exterior, its internal layout offers great functional enhancements and technological upgrades for Cordillera Ranch staff. For example, on any of the four touch-screen kiosks in the main lobby, you can easily access information about available properties as well as Preferred Builder information. Pasadera Builders’ attention to detail, fine craftsmanship and knack for subtle architectural enhancements is a signature of the new office. The added technological upgrades provided by Sterling Home Technologies’ experienced team has put this facility at the forefront of innovation. However, if you’re not interested in the cutting-edge technology, then just step outside and test out the new putting green just off the back patio overlooking the expansive view.
A common question we get is, “What is happening to the old visitor center?” That 55-acre hilltop is under development right now and will ultimately be home to 15 home sites in a gated enclave ranging from 2 to 4+ acres with the best views Cordillera Ranch has to offer, along with convenient access to the front gate. This newest neighborhood in Cordillera Ranch, known as Cordillera Ridge, is slated to be complete with development in the 2nd quarter of 2019 but the home sites are available for purchase currently. The old visitor center is currently planned to be removed some time this year as well.
Please stop by the new Vista Office and check out the views, beautiful craftsmanship and some of the new features the Visitor Center has to offer!
