As the temperatures begin to warm and flowers start to bloom, we welcome you to the Club for a schedule of exciting spring happenings!

This season, we are thrilled to be bringing back some favorite events while also adding a few new ones, so every member of the family has something to look forward to. Mark your calendars with the dates below, and get ready for a lively, joyful spring!

Dueling Pianos  ::  Saturday, March 16
6:00 to 10:00pm

Back by popular demand!

Get ready to sham-rock the night away at our St. Patrick’s-themed dueling pianos event! Join us for a craic-filled evening of Irish tunes, green beer and lively musical battles that’ll have you dancing a jig all night long. This event is for members 18 years and older

Orin Swift Wine Dinner  ::  Thursday, March 21
6:30 to 9:30pm

Indulge in an exquisite evening of culinary sophistication and fine wine at our exclusive Orin Swift Wine Dinner event. Join us in the Main Dining Room as we present pairings of Orin Swift wines with an exceptional menu crafted by Executive Chef Isaac Cantu and his culinary team.

Easter Eggstravaganza  ::  Saturday, March 30
10:30am to 1:30pm

Get the whole family ready for an “egg-stravagant” time at Easter Eggstravaganza! We will have egg hunts, crafts, face painters, balloon artists, lunch and yummy treats to make this Easter one to remember. Plus, we hear that the Easter Bunny himself may hop by for a visit!

Easter Brunch  ::  Sunday, March 31
Seatings from 11:00am to 2:00pm

Spring is in the air, which means Easter Brunch is on the menu! Wear your Easter best and indulge in a delectable array of seasonal delights featuring traditional favorites and delicious creations crafted by our culinary team. Kids can enjoy a visit from the Easter Bunny while adults enjoy live music and a mimosa or two. Make your reservations as this Easter Brunch will be sure to fill up quickly!

Mommy & Me Tea Party  ::  Saturday, April 6
10:00am to 12:00pm

Calling all moms, grandmothers and daughters! Treat yourself and your little ones to an enchanting morning at a Tea Party. From delicate finger sandwiches to sweet pastries, our menu is sure to delight everyone. Dress in your favorite tea party outfit and enjoy a Saturday morning tea with princesses, games, unicorns and more!

Mix & Mingle  ::  Thursday, May 2
6:30pm to 9:30pm

Enjoy a spring evening with friends as we learn how to mix cocktails while mingling! This Mix & Mingle’s theme will be “Kentucky Derby.” We’ll wear our big hats and best suits as we learn how to make cocktails with bourbon and get ready for the big race!

Derby Day  ::  Saturday, May 4
Welcome all members to the 150th Anniversary of the Kentucky Derby! Wear your snazziest suits and your biggest derby hats to view the “Greatest Two Minute in Sports.” This afternoon will be filled with mint juleps, live jazz music, casino games and, of course, horse racing!

Mamas & Moomoos  ::  Saturday, May 11
10:00am to 12:00pm

Start Mother’s Day weekend with your little ones on Saturday morning for a brand-new event! Come see all of the new mini animals at the Ranch, with fun photo opportunities, games, breakfast foods and more. This is a great opportunity to show the kids the Equestrian Center while indulging in some treats and beverages moms will love!

Mother’s Day Brunch  ::  Sunday, May 12
Seatings from 11:00am to 2:00pm

We invite you to celebrate all of the special women in your life with our Mother’s Day Brunch. The Club sets the perfect backdrop for a heartwarming gathering with cherished family and friends. Raise a toast to Mom and thank her for her love and dedication!

Amenity Reservations on the Ranch

Cordillera Ranch offers a variety of amenities for property owners and the new POA website allows online reservations for those amenities. To place a reservation request, simply log into the Cordillera Ranch POA website at www.cordilleraranchpoa.com, use the drop down on the For Residents tab and select Reservations, which lists the multiple amenities available. Property owners will then need to select which amenity they wish to reserve, and fill out the online form. The completed form is sent to the POA to review, at which time the POA will approve or deny the request. Once a decision has been made by the POA, the property owner is notified.

Where Do You Spend Your Time?

I recently read a story retold by the father of a young family of three that included himself, his wife and their young daughter. According to his recounting, after dinner they were each challenged to share an object symbolic of how they would describe one another to a stranger. When it was the daughter’s turn to share the item she thought to be representative of her father, she produced a cell phone. At her young age, she wasn’t taking a sarcastic “shot” at her dad, rather, it was how she truly saw him when he was home.
