I can’t believe this is our final issue of 2024!

As we approach Thanksgiving and Christmas, serving and giving back tend to become more front-of-mind this time of year, along with time spent enjoying family. As I read through the cover article for this issue, I was struck by Tala and Trevor Bynum’s story and their journey that’s ultimately led them to Cordillera Ranch. Their selfless service to our country, drive to make a difference in the lives of others and love of family exemplify many of the traits our Cordillera Ranch residents have brought to this community. I don’t want to spoil the feature on the Bynums, so make sure you read about them a few pages ahead, but like so many other folks in the Ranch, we’re lucky to have them as a part of the neighborhood.

While we’re on the theme of service, Cordillera Cares is active year-round in their support of non-profit projects, with focus in 2024 on The Center, Cultivar Farms and Love Kendall County Kids. All three organizations’ tireless dedication to improving the lives of our older citizens to the youngest, have had lasting impacts and we’re not only grateful as a community for their endeavors, but better for it as well. 

As we approach the Christmas season, we again look forward to our continued partnership with the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office Foundation BLUE SANTA program, providing filled stockings for families and children in need. It’s truly a remarkable program that brings joy to so many children who otherwise might have gone without.
