Format: 36-Holes Stroke Play
Senior Division: 50-59 years
Super-Senior Division: 60 years+
Entry Fee: $95 includes food and prizes
Gross and Net prizes.

September 14-15 – Ladies’ Club Championship
Time: AM Tee-Times
Format: 36-Hole Stroke Play flighted by handicap
Entry fee: $75 includes food and prizes
Gross and Net prizes.

September 17 – Junior Club Championship
Time: AM Tee-Times
Format: Flighted Stroke Play based on age and ability
Entry Fee: $35 includes lunch and trophies
Test your skills and all of the things you have learned this summer on the golf course and in our Cordillera Cubs camps.

September 20 – Wine Dinner Featuring PlumpJack, CADE and Odette
Our special guest Mr. John Conover, managing partner and general manager of PlumpJack, CADE and Odette Estate Wineries, will guide guests through an evening of wine and dining with excellent pairings created by Chef Isaac and his team.

September 23-25 – Men’s Club Championship
Time: AM Tee-Times
Format: 54-hole and 36-hole Stroke Play flighted by handicap
Entry Fee: $100 includes food and prizes
Gross and Net prizes.

September 30 – Oktoberfest
Celebrate our German Hill Country heritage through Oktoberfest! Enjoy different varieties of Karbach beer as well as specialty cocktails, brats, turkey legs and spaetzle! It’s Oompah at its best with live music and fun for all!

October 1 – MGA Cup Final
Time: 9:00am Shotgun
Format: Top 40 qualifiers competing in year-end final

October 13-15 – C-Star Member-Guest
Format: 45 Holes Non-Elimination Four-Ball Match Play

October 19-20 – CWGA Halloween Tournament

October 21-23 – AJGA Jimmy Walker Challenge
Pro-Am Friday October 21
Ryder-Cup style play with 32 of the top junior boys in the country.

October 22
Halloween Horse Costume Contest and Pumpkin Decorating
Location: Equestrian Center
Bring the kid’s in their favorite Halloween costume to decorate pumpkins and vote for the best horse costume!

October 24-25 – Greens Aerification
The course will be closed.

October 28 – Glow Ball Tournament
Details to follow.

October 28 – Haunted Halloween Fright Night
Time: 6:30- to 9:30pm
Location: Cabana and Pool Deck
RSVP: Tuesday, October 25

Fall has been a busy season for the Agronomy team. This important season kicks off after all the fun of the Ladies’ Ranch Roundup, when we begin our greens aerification process. At the conclusion of this process in October, we have now seen the extraordinary benefit of the deep vertical slicing (Graden device) coupled with the normal aerification of punching holes and backfilling with sand.

A long-standing interest of mine has been the benefits of using honey and bee keeping. I have enjoyed honey since I was a child and there are many benefits of having honey in your diet. Honey contains a variety of nutrients, it’s rich in antioxidants and is better for blood sugar levels than regular sugar. Research has shown it to promote heart health, promote burn and wound healing, and help suppress coughing with children.

Ever since I can remember, I’ve been around the game of golf. From watching golf tournaments on TV with my family to going out to the driving range with my dad during my High School years while on the Golf Team, everything I associate with golf has been positive. I decided to attend the University of the Incarnate Word and major in Fashion Merchandising with a concentration in Business. Fusing both my passion for fashion and love for the game of golf, the golf merchandising path was the perfect path for me.
