Meet Amy!

The Clubs of Cordillera Ranch Spa Services welcomes Amy Steinwald, the newest spa professional to join the team.

Amy’s passion for health and wellness began when she graduated from college with a BA in Dance Movement Therapy. She is a Licensed Massage Therapist and a Certified Thai Bodyworker, along with certifications in other massage modalities. Amy uses a multi-dimensional approach with years of experience and education to assist her massage clients move toward a pain-free and active lifestyle. These modalities include Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular Therapy, Trigger Point Therapy, Stretching, Range of Motion, Cupping Therapy and Craniosacral Therapy.

Originally born and raised in North Dakota, Amy recently relocated to Texas by way of Chicago. She has been married to her wonderful husband for 11 years and they have a 7-year-old son.

TYPES OF MASSAGE:

Deep Tissue – The use of deep strokes to stretch the muscle.

Therapeutic – Deep massage for releasing knots, muscle spasms and acute tension, Therapeutic massage restores the body’s integrity with long lasting results and includes Cupping, Myofascial and Neuromuscular techniques.  

Medical Massage – A results-oriented therapy, Medical massage works toward resolving specific conditions that a physician has diagnosed.

Thai Bodywork – On the massage table, this massage combines stretching and body movements to loosen muscles and release tension.

Craniosacral Therapy – Helps to improve the functioning of the nervous system, relieving pain and improving mobility.

Ever since I can remember, I’ve been around the game of golf. From watching golf tournaments on TV with my family to going out to the driving range with my dad during my High School years while on the Golf Team, everything I associate with golf has been positive. I decided to attend the University of the Incarnate Word and major in Fashion Merchandising with a concentration in Business. Fusing both my passion for fashion and love for the game of golf, the golf merchandising path was the perfect path for me.
