The Clubs of Cordillera Ranch is thrilled to announce an exciting lineup of junior tennis clinics aimed at fostering a love for the sport among young players. With programs designed for children aged 4 to 18, these clinics offer tailored experiences that promote skill development, physical fitness and teamwork in a vibrant community atmosphere.

Tiny Tots Clinic: A Foundation for Young Athletes
Every Monday and Wednesday from 4:30 to 5:30pm, the Tiny Tots Clinic welcomes children aged 4 to 7. This engaging program is specifically designed for youngsters who are new to tennis. Here, children will learn the fundamental skills of the game through fun activities that emphasize coordination, balance and basic tennis techniques. The clinic provides a safe and encouraging environment where kids can socialize, make friends and develop a passion for an active lifestyle. At just $35 per class, this clinic serves as an excellent introduction to the sport, ensuring that each child receives the attention and instruction needed to build confidence on the court.

Future Stars Clinic: Growing Competitors
On Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 4:30 to 6:00pm, the Future Stars Clinic caters to children aged 8 to 12. This program strikes a perfect balance between fun and competition, incorporating a mix of drills, games and match play. Participants will not only enhance their technical skills, but also learn essential strategies and sportsmanship, preparing them for more competitive play. At a cost of $40 per class, the Future Stars Clinic is an excellent way for children to stay active, make new friends, and discover their potential in tennis. With experienced instructors guiding them, participants will benefit from personalized coaching that helps refine their skills while fostering a healthy competitive spirit.

All-Stars Program: For Aspiring Tournament Players
For those aged 13 to 18, the All-Stars Program offers a rigorous training regimen designed for tournament-level players. Running Monday through Thursday from 5:30 to 7:00pm, this advanced program focuses on honing skills, developing match strategies, and preparing for competition. Players can select their participation level based on their schedule, with pricing options of $150 per month for one day, $225 for two days, $300 for three days, or $350 for four days. Additionally, a drop-in rate of $50 per class allows flexibility for those with varying commitments. Under the guidance of seasoned coaches, participants will have the opportunity to elevate their game, engage in competitive drills, and participate in match play that prepares them for real-world tournaments.

Amenity Reservations on the Ranch

Cordillera Ranch offers a variety of amenities for property owners and the new POA website allows online reservations for those amenities. To place a reservation request, simply log into the Cordillera Ranch POA website at www.cordilleraranchpoa.com, use the drop down on the For Residents tab and select Reservations, which lists the multiple amenities available. Property owners will then need to select which amenity they wish to reserve, and fill out the online form. The completed form is sent to the POA to review, at which time the POA will approve or deny the request. Once a decision has been made by the POA, the property owner is notified.

I recently read a story retold by the father of a young family of three that included himself, his wife and their young daughter.
