What’s New In Clubs Village

developer1The Clubs Village section of Cordillera Ranch, which encompasses nearly 900 acres of rolling hills with spectacular views across the Nicklaus Signature golf course and the Guadalupe River Valley, is experiencing significant new growth. Since 2005, over 240 lots have been developed in Clubs Village and only 28 remain. What’s more is that of the 78 golf course frontage lots that have been developed, only 2 remain available. As a result, we are in the process of planning a new limited release section of Nicklaus Signature Golf Front lots.

If you have played the course recently, you may have noticed some of the cedar clearing and underbrush thinning occurring right of the uphill par 5 ninth hole and downhill par 4 tenth hole. This is part of the preparation for the upcoming offering of these new 1+ acre home sites. These lots feature orientations favoring southeast prevailing breezes, views across several different holes as well as this view to the Clubhouse.

20143 Cordillera Maps Update-v3-Clubs Village-8.5x11_LRThis enclave of new home sites is covered by some of the largest oak trees in Cordillera Ranch, providing privacy and a sense of historical connection with the preserved ranch. Topography ranges from flat to gentle slope from front to back of lot better allowing view opportunities. There is a panorama view effect from this peninsula of home sites that jut into “the turn” of the golf course; these lots are unlike any other golf front lots we have developed. If you go to this page on our website and click on the video at the top of the page you will be able to see some aerial video from above these planned lots: www.cordilleraranch.com/club/golf/default.asp

It has been seven years since the last release of Nicklaus Signature golf front lots and this limited release will not be available long. We will be offering a pre-development release of these new lots the week of May 29th in conjunction with Jack Nicklaus’ annual PGA Tour event, The Memorial at Muirfield Village. To schedule a private preview of these properties before their release, contact the Cordillera Ranch Visitors Center at 830-336-3570 to schedule an appointment or Discovery Visit experience.

The following master plan of Clubs Village highlights the new Nicklaus Signature planned lots along holes 9 and 10.

Where Do You Spend Your Time?

I recently read a story retold by the father of a young family of three that included himself, his wife and their young daughter. According to his recounting, after dinner they were each challenged to share an object symbolic of how they would describe one another to a stranger. When it was the daughter’s turn to share the item she thought to be representative of her father, she produced a cell phone. At her young age, she wasn’t taking a sarcastic “shot” at her dad, rather, it was how she truly saw him when he was home.
